Reverse with Chaux des Fonds arrival cds (Aug 31) in black. A rare cover - rate was 20 soldi to the Swiss border plus a further 10 soldi for inland delivery. Reverse with Vienna cds (Sept 26) and Wyl arrival cds (Sept 28) in black. A rare cover - underfranked by 5 soldi (the rate to Switzerland had been reduced to 15 soldi on 1 September 1868) and the clerk probably did not notice the stamp was in this currency rather than the 'normal' kreuzer. Reverse with Chaux des Fonds arrival cds (Oct 26) in black; manuscript '4' Rheinish krajcar in red crayon on obverse. A rare cover - the single rate to Switzerland had been reduced to 15 soldi on 1 September 1868 and thus this double rate cover was overpaid 10 soldi.
