example, correctly franking a 1907 postcard (Sheddon Road, Georgetown) to Grand Turk, Turks Islands, tied by "George Town / Grand Cayman" cds (Nov 29) in black. 'Kingston / Jamaica' transit adjacent (Dec 7) and 'Turks Islands' arrival cds 10 Jan,
1908). The card is written by George Hirst, Cayman Islands Commissioner with a Christmas message for H.H. Hutchings who was to succeed Mr. Hirst in 1912 as Acting Commissioner. Superb and extremely rare with just two postcard usages recorded bearing

example tied to 1907 card rate cover to Bright & Sons in the Strand, London by "George Town / Grand Cayman" cds (Dec 9) in black. Roughly opened at top which is strange as Bright was a stamp dealer, and slight edge wear to envelope; reverse with
