 1897 Lungchow (13 Dec) to France. ICP 1st Print PSC, applied with clear strike of Lungchow Dollar cds. In combination with French issue 10c, tied by Bac Le (16 Dec) cds. Further transit Phu Lang (16 Dec), Haiphong (17 Dec).
Lungchow Dollar cds is already scarce, and this card is the only recorded non-philatelic stationery card with Lungchow Dollar cds as well as the only recorded Lungchow mail which did not transit at Langson as the postal clerk there was murdered and
the PO was therefore closed for a short period. Mails was handled at Bac Le during the period. As foreign postage was prepaid and affixed by sender, only 1c Chinese postage for the domestic postcard rate was needed.

龍州寄法國。大清第一版郵資片，鈐清晰之龍州大圓戳。加貼法國票10生丁，銷12.16 Bac Le日戳。12.16經Phu Lang，12.17經海防。龍州大圓戳本已稀罕少見，亦是已知唯一一件鈐龍州大圓戳之實寄非集郵郵資片，另是唯一一件不經諒山中轉的例子。當時諒山郵局因職員被殺害而暫時關閉，郵件改經Bac Le中轉。寄件人貼付外國郵資，因而只需1分國內郵資。(Image 1)
