 1943 Hong Kong to Toishan, f.w. Japanese issue 5s for local rate. Transit Canton (9 Feb), Kungyifow (14 Mar). Arrived Takianghu (15 Mar). Japanese stamp was obliterated given the war between ROC and Japan. Historical.
1943年香港寄台山，貼日本票5錢，合本地信函郵資，銷日式戳。2.9經廣州，鈐宣傳機戳。3.14經公益埠。 3.15抵大江墟。日本票因侵華戰爭而被塗抹，深具歷史意義。(Image 1)

 1942 Hong Kong to Wuchow, applied with single ringed “Hong Kong Office / Special Charge for Postage Paid” and double ringed “Hong Kong Officec / Postage Fully Paid” violet h.s. Transit Canton (27 Aug) with meter stamp. These
two violet paid cds were used when the supply of Japanese stamps were interrupted by the difficulties of transport. Scarce. Cover roughly opened at left.
1942年香港寄梧州，鈐單圈“香港局 / 料金別納郵便”及雙圈“香港局 / 郵資給足”紫色圓戳。8.27經廣州，鈐機戳。

 1945 (16 Aug) Japanese surch 1.5 Yen stationery card (Yang JPC3), to Hong Kong local, tied by Hong Kong Japanese style cds. Commerical usage of this stationery card is extremely scarce as Japan surrendered on 15 Aug. This
example was dated on 16 Aug which even elevated the historical significance. A rarity.

Canton (3 Aug). Returned to Hong Kong (25 Aug). Showing mutliple registered, parti and unclaimed cachets. Registered letter during Japanese occupation is scarce, not to mention dated just a few days before the surrender of Japan (15 Aug).
1945.7.30 香港寄廣州，退回寄件人。掛號封，貼日本票加蓋“香港總督部”3圓 + 5圓，銷香港日式戳，旁貼“香港甲”掛號標籤。8.3抵廣州，退回寄件人。 8.25抵香港。蓋有多處掛號、人已他往及查無此人等指示戳。日佔時期之掛號郵例本已少見，日期僅為日本於8月15日投降前數天，更是稀罕獨特。(Image

 1945.7.30 Hong Kong (30 Jul) to Canton, returned to sender. Registered cover, f.w. Japanese 1945 Hong Kong (Aug) to Kongmoon, f.w. Japanese stamp surch Hong Kong Government 3 Yen, tied by circular mark without date and
inscription. Transit Canton (22 Aug) with meter stamp. Arrived Kongmoon (23 Aug). With worm hole at centre. This cover was probably sent after Japanese surrender. Commerical usage of the Japanese surch issues are extremely scarce given the late
issuance date.
