3328 cover image1938 Rangoon (15 Dec) to Kwankow. Remittance red band cover, f.w. Indian KGV ovpt. BURMA 3a6p + 4a for airmail rate, tied by Rangoon GPO cds. Alongside with Airmail vertical cachet, Kulangsu Chinese and English address seals. With original letter. Very scarce airmail Qiaopi from Burma to Amoy, not to mention the clear cancellations. Amoy fell into Japanese hands on 13 May 1938 while Kulangsu on Dec 1941.

1938.12.15 仰光寄灌口。銀信紅條封，背貼印度佐治五 世加蓋BURMA 3安娜6派 + 4安娜，合航空郵資，銷仰光郵 政總局日戳。旁鈐“附航空郵政”直戳及鼓浪嶼中英文地 址戳。附原信。稀罕難得之緬甸寄廈門航空僑批，郵戳清 晰。廈門於1938年5月13日淪陷，鼓浪嶼則於1941年12月 淪陷。(Image 1) (Image 2) (Image 3)

3329 cover image1940 (29 Apr) OCBC Rangoon remittance cover to Haiteng, applied with “OCBC Rangoon / Rangoon GPO” 3-1/2a postage meter stamp. On reverse with OCBC Rangoon remittance mark and Rangoon GPO cds. Showing amount of CNC $30 on front. This meter stamp was the special type for OCBC remittance, hence extremely scarce.

1940.4.29 仰光華僑銀行銀信寄海澄，鈐“仰光華僑銀行 / 仰光郵 政總局”3-1/2安娜郵資機戳。背面鈐仰光華僑銀行滙款指示戳及 仰光總局日戳。正面寫有批款國幣30元。此郵資機戳專用於華僑銀 行，因而相當特殊稀罕。許茂春著《東南亞華人與僑批》第276頁 7-59原件。(Image 1) (Image 2)

3330 cover image1941 Rangoon (13 Feb) to Toishan. WWII censor cover, f.w. Burma KGVI 1r, tied by Rangoon GPO cds, alongside with airmail, registered label and censor mark. Arrived Toishan (20 Mar). Toishan fell on 3 Mar 1941. Rather early example from the fall of Toishan.

3331 cover image1934 Rangoon (28 Feb) to Choon Seen & Co., Meihsien. Qiaopi bulk mail cover, f.w. Indian KGV 3a6p, tied by Rangoon cds. In combination with ROC postage due issue x17, in total of $1.5, tied by Meihsien (17 Apr) arrival cds. Showing “3 covers” by ink-brush on front. Cover opened out for display.According to Chinese Post, all Qiaopi sent in bulk must be franked with stamps, otherwise would be considered as taxed. This bulk cover was opened by Meishen Post Office and was found with 3 extra mails inside. International rate was 25c, hence in total of 150c double rate for 3 mails was charged. Only a few incoming money remittance covers with postage due franking to China exist.

1934.2.28 仰光寄梅縣崇信公司僑批總包，貼印度佐治五世3安娜6派，銷 仰光日戳。加貼民國欠資票17枚，合1元5角，銷梅縣4.17日戳。封剖開展 示。按中國郵局規定，入口僑批總包必須在每件僑批上貼足郵資。此總包 於梅縣開包檢查，發現總包有三封需罰資，故寫有“叁封”，合計罰國際 雙倍郵資1元5角。貼欠資票之進口總包存世僅有數件。許茂春著《東南亞 華人與僑封》第275頁7-57原件。(Image 1) (All Images)

3332 cover image1941 OCBC Huipi (receipt of remittance) from Kiowei (29 Dec) to Rangoon, applied with Kiowei origin cds. F.w. SYS 25c in pair, tied by Kulangsu (23 Dec) cds. Alongside with “Return to Kulangsu” cachet. It is the only recorded remittance cover from Kiowei to Rangoon. Cover opened out for display.

1941.12.29 華僑銀行回批，自角尾寄仰光，鈐角尾三格點線 日戳。貼孫像2角5分雙連，銷鼓浪嶼12.23日戳。旁鈐“退鼓 浪嶼”指示戳。此為記錄中唯一一件角尾寄仰光之銀信。封剖 開以作展示。(Image 1) (All Images)
