 1914 Deli to Tsungkow. Red band cover, frankless, with annotation of year 1914 and Tsungkow private courier forwarding vertical cachet. Although Qiaopiju was already well developed in early 19th century, private courier mails
still existed. Late example of private courier.
1914年日里籠葛寄松口。紅條封，無貼票，寫有“公元1914之信”及“松口溪南張淼生帶望速回信 / 交謝同利准于正月十二日起行”直戳。雖然荷屬東印度之僑批局在二十世紀初已有相當發展，但水客僑批仍有出現。此為相當晚期之水客僑批。許茂春著《東南亞華人與僑批》第248頁6-53原件。(Image 1)

 1934 Rangoon (1 Aug) to Wingchun. Remittance red band cover, f.w. Indian KGV 3a6p, tied by Rangoon GPO cds. Showing “CHIP HWAT” PO box cachet. Transit Amoy with “Attaching extra mail is prohibited. Offender will be penalized /
Wingfuk Company” circular cachet in order to comply with UPU regulation that mails should not enclose any mail sent on behalf of other senders. Showing prefix and serial number by ink-brush. Renting PO box was not popular among Qiaopiju in Burma,
hence rare.
1934.8.1 仰光寄永春。銀信紅條封，貼印度佐治五世3安娜 6派，銷仰光郵政總局日戳。鈐仰光CHIP HWAT郵政信箱戳 記。經廈門，鈐“禁止多夾信件違則重罰 / 永福公司”圓 戳，以合萬國郵聯“信內不准夾寄他人信件”之規定。抵 永春。寫有字軌及編號。緬甸僑批局甚少租用郵政信箱， 故此例甚罕。許茂春著《東南亞華人與僑封》第273頁7-51 原件。(Image 1)
