1316 cover image1890 (4 Jan) letter to the King of Nepal by the Chinese military commander in Tibet, applied with large red seal. Dated around the Tibet Sikkim Boundary Convention which recognized a British protectorate over Sikkim and demarcated the Sikkim–Tibet border. Cover folded and trimmed at bottom. With original letter.

1320 cover image1890 (May) letter to the King of Nepal Bir Shamsher by Sheng Tai, the Chinese Amban in Tibet, Darjeeling, applied with large red seal. Very rare Amban letter sent outside Tibet as the Chinese Amban Shengtai was in Calcutta to sign the Tibet Sikkim Boundary Convention by that time. The Convention recognized a British protectorate over Sikkim and demarcated the Sikkim–Tibet border.

1323 cover image1815 a reply letter from Tibet Amban to the King of Nepal, refusing the request of providing reinforcement to Nepal during Anglo-Nepali War. Nepal to Qing Government during Anglo-Nepali War. Extremely historical. Illustration from “Tibet Stamps and Postal History” by Steven Chazen and Danny Wong fig 8, p.69. As the Jiaqing Emperor refused to support Nepal, Nepal turned to be the vassal state of Britain.

1815年清朝駐藏大臣對廓爾喀國王之回信，明確拒絕介入英廓戰爭及支援廓爾喀。蔡盛及王劍智著《青康藏郵驛史》 第69頁圖例8號原件。由於嘉慶拒絕支援，廓爾喀淪為英國附庸並獲得特權。極具歷史意義。(Image 1) (Image 2) (Image 3) (Image 4)

1331 cover image1911 Shanghai (21 Jan) to Commissioner of Customs Yatung via India. Statistical Department On Service cover, f.w. Coiling Dragon 1c + 3c in strip of 3, tied by Shanghai bilingual cds. Transit Shanghai BPO (23 Jan), Tuticorin (12 Feb), Base Office (16 Feb). Arrived Yatung (17 Feb). Yatung Customs was founded in 1894 as a result of Anglo-Chinese Convention on Tibet and India. Communications with Chinese inland was usually through post via India.

1911.1.21 上海經印度寄亞東海關。海關造冊處郵政公事封，貼蟠龍1分 + 3分三連，銷上海 漢英日戳。1.23經上海英局，2.12經Tuticorin，2.16經基地郵局，2.17抵亞東。亞東海關於 1894年根據《中英會議藏印條約》成立，與中國內地的通信多經印度中轉。(Image 1) (Image 2) (Image 3)

According to “Tibet Stamps and Postal History” by Steve Chazen and Danny Wong, only about 10 Imperial stationery cards from Tibet exist. Extremely scarce.

約1910年大清第四版郵資片自拉薩寄江孜，銷拉薩英漢藏C2型戳記。另鈐江孜英漢藏C1型到 達戳。王劍智及蔡盛著《青康藏郵驛史》記載，西藏清郵資片存世僅約十件，極為稀罕。(Image 1) (Image 2)
