Extremely Fine, Very Scarce, and Rarely Seen Tied Example

Illustrated as Figure 6 in William W. Sammis' Census The stamp with four large margins and vivid in color, tied by a manuscript "X" on a cover docketed July 9, 1858. Addressed to Mr. S.T. Skidmore, No. 66 Wall St. for local delivery. Sammis records only ten examples of the 119L1 on cover, with only 2 other examples as tied.
