505 Postal Stationery. 1892-98 Argentina Post Office publications "Valores Postale Argentinos", volumes I and II, volume I (62 pages) containing 1892 issue postal stationery (11) and stamps (12) with Muestra overprints, volume II (337 pages, some removed) containing postal stationery (70) and stamps (16) all overprinted Muestra. Also other specimen stationery, many clearly removed from archival pages (some with paper adhering), most with Muestra overprints (78), and five specimen meter marks. (164 + 28 stamps).

520 1911 Real Photo picture postcard of children around an aeroplane, reverse inscribed "National School children at object lesson at Geelong 21.2.11", also postcards of a Bristol biplane and Harry Hawker. On 20th February 1911 J.J Hammond made the first cross country flight in Australia in his Bristol Boxkite, flying the 40 miles from Altona Bay to Geelong in 55 minutes. (3).

521 1914 (June) "Australia's First Aerial Mail, Melbourne to Sydney" coloured picture postcard depicting the aviator Wizard Stone and organiser P.V Ryan, addressed to Sydney franked 1d, not posted. The flight was abandoned when the aircraft crashed prior to the flight; the special cards (sold for 1/- each) were not posted or were despatched by rail. E.2a, $350.

522 1914 (July 16-18) Melbourne to Sydney "Official Souvenir Australia's Aerial Mail" postcard depicting the aviator Maurice Guillaux, with ½d Kangaroo pair each tied by the oval Aerial Mail datestamp in violet, Sydney arrival c.d.s, numbered "1414", corner creases. Also a cover to the French Consulate in Sydney with five Australia or Victoria stamps all cancelled by forged Aerial Mail datestamps. E.3, 4b, $1,100. (2).
