1944 1905-08 Covers (2) and a picture postcard bearing 1904 issue stamps, including 1907 (Aug 10) registered cover to London franked 3a bearing the very scarce first type registration label; another example is illustrated by Gary Dubro in "Zanzibar's Postal History Legacy" (fig 7.46, page 133) which states "Two covers are recorded with use in July and August 1907". (3).

1945 1907 (Dec 19) Registered cover franked 3a, addressed "To His Highness The Sultan of Zanzibar, care the agent D.O.A.L Ltd, Mombasa, E. Africa" and "To await arrival of S.S Admiral". The enclosed letter on Zanzibar Government notepaper, signed "C.R", gives an interesting report on affairs in Zanzibar during the Sultan's absence. Small piece of paper adhering to the address panel, otherwise fine. (Cover + letter).

1950 imageNaval Mail. 1875 (Nov 25) Cover from G.B to "R.W.E Middleton RN, H.M Ship "Flying Fish", care of Postmaster Aden" bearing 2d blue plate 14 single + pair and 3d rose plate 16 pair paying the 1/- rate via Brindisi, cancelled by Harleston 336 duplexs. At this time H.M.S "Flying Fish" was on anti-slavery patrol at Zanzibar, the cover carried on the P&O "Malwa" to Aden the forwarded to Zanzibar on the B.I.S.N. Co. "Punjaub".
