1926 $1 Dummy booklet with grey granite paper boards, printed front cover as issued SB11; and another dummy booklet with plain pink board covers as used for 96c booklet SB9, both booklets stapled with gummed and perforated unwatermarked white wove paper folded panes of ten labels. Both booklets with pencil notes on the back cover detailing interleaving - A, B, C & D. The $1 booklet has two panes of labels and two pieces of interleaving (as did the issued booklet, SB11); the other dummy booklet has four panes of labels and five pieces of interleaving (as did the other trio of issued booklets). Also sixteen advert proofs, including vertical strip of three "Ferrocrete" with notes showing which advert goes into which booklet, eight endorsed or handstamped "OK" with date and initials, one on interleaving, etc., mainly fine, a good lot. 1927-33 Proofs of advertising panes (45) from eleven different De La Rue files, some on interleaving paper with Ferrocrete adverts marked "A", "B" or "C", some oversize on wove paper marked "Approved", "O.K." or with other manuscript notes, strip of three different panes dated "13 APR 1929", a memo and a copy letter to Crown Agents with Haig proof affixed, four Hennesey Brandy bilingual proofs (checking the Chinese?, one dated "24.6.30"), memo headed "7/1/33, F.M.S. & Straits booklets" with amendments and an envelope "Proofs & Copy", typed ad for Austin, a few with faults but many fine, an interesting lot.
