Vance Auctions Ltd. Sale - 372

Worldwide Internet/Mail Sale - January 22, 2025

Welcome to our January 22nd sale to kick off 2025. It is a great auction with lots of scarcer items and better calibre stamps and postal history to be found. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Excellent sections of France and Colonies with many key and elusive items.
  • Another nice selection of Zeppelin covers from the 1920's-30's with single and multiple frankings.
  • A solid section of Japan with many better singles, sets, and souvenir sheets.
  • Extensive classic Canada with Pence, 1859 Cents, Large and Small Queens, and Jubliees up to $5. There are mint examples of #'s 4, 5, 9, 10 and 13 plus a used #3, the famous 12 Penny Black.
  • The United States has many key older items with Certificates plus a great section of covers particularly from the 19th Century.
  • Canada Provinces has many attractive lots from Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island and British Columbia. The Nova Scotia and New Brunswick have many nice oval numeral cancels.
  • There is a fascinating section of Militaria (Lots 7296 - 7314) which includes collections of medals, insignia, cap badges, etc.
  • Hundreds of larger lots including collections, accumulations, and box lots. These are always popular with collectors and dealers alike.
  • This sale has extensive worldwide covers, postal history, and postcards including some great aviation related items.
Don't forget that there is No Buyer's Fee at Vance Auctions and bidding is in inexpensive Canadian dollars. There is no extra charge for credit card use. Bidding information is updated at Stamp Auction Network. Bidding on items in the sale will continue until Midnight EST on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Please note that bids come in from many sources in addition to SAN (including e-mail, telephone, fax, mail, and our own web site). Even if your bid is 'green' at SAN when bidding ends, you could still be outbid. If your bid turns 'red' after Midnight on the last night of bidding, it means that a higher bid was received from another source before Midnight. Auction results for Sale #372 will be posted at www.vanceauctions.com on the evening of Saturday, January 25th.

Good luck with your bids!
