717 nhbl Image3c Carmine Lake (J54). Right imprint and plate no. 5523 block of six, stamps Mint N.H., small faults in selvage knock the full plate block from the Mint N.H. category

FINE. A RARE PLATE BLOCK OF SIX OF THE 1914 3-CENT POSTAGE DUE ISSUE IN THE CARMINE LAKE SHADE. THIS IS THE THIRD PLATE BLOCK IN THIS SHADE WE HAVE OFFERED SINCE KEEPING COMPUTERIZED RECORDS.

This issue is rare in any block form -- we have offered only two plate blocks in the Dull Rose shade (Scott J54a, hinged), plus two others in this Carmine Lake shade -- since keeping computerized records.
