VERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL-GUM SELVAGE BLOCK OF FOUR OF THE 1888 6-PENCE VIOLET.

A scarce and undervalued stamp. Only 55 sheets were printed and many were overprinted locally for revenue use. Blocks of any size are rare.
