1c Buff (112). A few slightly blunted perfs from affixing at edge of cover, used with pair 3c Ultramarine (114), tied by blue "Cincinnati O. Jun. 2" (1870) circular datestamps and pair by target on buff cover to Creusburg, Germany, red "New York Paid All Direct Jun. 4" transit datestamp, framed Bremen transit ties 3c pair, clear Creuzburg arrival backstamps, left 3c stamp with horizontal tear and missing another stamp at left, otherwise Very Fine, ex Klein and "Lafayette", with 2016 P.F. certificate which states "Genuine Usage" and does not mention the missing stamp (certificate does mention the tear) (Image)

Grill (93), s.e. at left with interpane margin, similarly cancelled on Charleston Hotel illustrated advertising cover depicting a bird in the brush, cleaned and small sealed cover tear at right, Very Fine appearance, a beautiful illustrated cover with two different 2c stamps, an interesting note: one of the famous Lincoln-Douglas debates was held in Charleston on Sep. 18, 1858, with 1995 Richter certificate (Image)

No. 3 12 Juin 69" French Ligne H octagonal datestamp, small red "PD" boxed handstamp, receiving backstamp, missing part of top flap, strip affected from placement near edge of cover and one stamp has fallen off in transit, otherwise Fine, a very rare usage, ex Martin (Image)
