VERY FINE APPEARANCE. THE 1863 ONE-CENT BLACK NUMERAL ISSUE ON GRAYISH PAPER IS VERY SCARCE IN USED CONDITION.
Ex Ishikawa, Honolulu Advertiser and Twigg-Smith. With 1978 P.F. certificate (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE USE OF THE SAN FRANCISCO DATESTAMP TO CANCEL THE 1863 ONE-CENT NUMERAL ON GRAYISH PAPER.
The 1c Numeral was intended for and typically used on local or inter-island mail. The presence of the San Francisco datestamp on this example indicates it was used to make up part of the Hawaiian 5c rate.
Ex Crocker, Atherton, Pietsch and Twigg-Smith. With 2007 P.F. certificate (Image)
