Horizontal pairs, including two of 220 (slightly different shades), 10c with right sheet margin, 30c with wide top left corner sheet margin, 90c with left sheet margin, 219D is block of four without gum, others original gum, mostly h.r., ample to mostly large margins, 15c few small adherences

Complete set of pairs or larger multiples, 6c top plate no. pair, 4c block of four with huge top plate no. selvage, 8c, 10c and 30c in strips of three (8c with sheet margin), original gum except 2c Lake no gum and 90c regummed, a couple with h.r. and several Mint N.H., all but 2c Lake with large margins (and that is the cheapest of the set), brilliant colors

5c Chocolate (223). Mint N.H., mathematically perfect centering with Jumbo margins, deep rich color on crisp paper, long and full perforations

EXTREMELY FINE GEM. THIS MAGNIFICENT MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT 1890 ISSUE IS GRADED GEM 100 JUMBO BY P.S.E. -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE POSSIBLE ON THE GRADING CHART. TRULY A CONDITION RARITY.

With 1992 P.F. and 2005 P.S.E. certificates (Gem 100 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 100, SMQ $14,500.00 as 100). This is the highest grade possible on the grading chart and only one other Scott 223 shares this grade. In fact, there are no other Mint N.H. stamps graded 100J among all the denominations of the 1890-93 Issue (Image)
