Jumbo margins with portions of five surrounding stamps, absolutely gorgeous color complemented by bold red "New-York" circular datestamp and French transit datestamp, wonderfully fresh EXTREMELY FINE GEM. THIS SUPERB USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1851 3-CENT ORANGE BROWN IS ONE OF THE FINEST WE HAVE ENCOUNTERED. A TRULY SPECTACULAR STAMP IN EVERY RESPECT.
