VERY FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE SET OF PANAMA-PACIFIC SMALL DIE PROOFS FOR THE FIRST NEWSPAPER ISSUE.

Prepared in 1915 for the Panama-Pacific Exposition, it is believed that no more than five examples of each stamp were produced. This is the first set we have offered since keeping computerized records. No singles or sets were offered in either the Warm-Griffiths or Kotanchik auctions.
