FINE-VERY FINE. A RARE COMPLETE SET OF THE ONE-CENT TO $5.00 1907 BUREAU OF INSULAR AFFAIRS SPECIAL PRINTING.

As discussed in a footnote in the Scott Catalogue, a set of the 1903-04 Issue was specially printed for the Bureau of Insular Affairs in 1907. They are on a brighter stock of paper than the regular issue.

Ex Todd and offered to the market for the first time since 1978. 1c-15c blue backstamp and 50c-$5.00 initialed in pencil "HHB". Each accompanied by 1980 P.F. certificate (only 4c and 8c called reperfed on certificates). (Image)

FINE. THIS PLATE BLOCK OF THE 13-CENT PHILIPPINES 1907 SPECIAL PRINTING IS REPORTED TO BE UNIQUE. A GREAT RARITY OF PHILIPPINES PHILATELY.

As discussed in a footnote in the Scott Catalogue, a set of the 1903-04 Issue was specially printed for the Bureau of Insular Affairs in 1907. They are on a brighter stock of paper than the regular issue. Plate number 1473 was only used for the 1907 Special Printing.
