VERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL EXMPLE OF THE FAMOUS H.M.S. "GLASGOW" ERROR OF VIGNETTE. PERHAPS 17 ARE KNOWN.

This issue was produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of the Falkland Islands. It is believed this error occurred when a sheet with the center showing the "Glasgow", which was used for the 2-1/2p value, was accidentally included among the supply of the 6p value, where it received the wrong frame. Only 17 examples are reported, though this number may include some duplication.
