June 25" dotted oval datestamp on folded cover to Schuylerville N.Y. docketed 1846, slightly toned but a sharp detailed strike, green handstamp with matching "Paid" and "Sandy Hill N.Y. Dec. 11" dotted oval datestamp on 1845 folded letter to Albany, eagle design shows clearly, accompanied by a third folded letter dated Oct. 1844 with Sandy Hill oval, "Free" and postmaster's free frank, Very Fine, the rate marking was impressed from the reverse of a Capped Bust Half-Dime (minted 1829-37), these are the only two recorded examples according to Hahn (Image)
