S.A. King was a famous aeronaut who was active in the 1880s to 1890s, he made an attempt at a pre-trans Atlantic flight, but was unsuccessful. He also flew from Chicago to Chippewa Falls. He helped form the Aeronautical Society. He later had a photo studio in Boston MA.
