2302 5 imageConfederate States, 1862, 10¢ rose (Scott 5), o.g., previously hinged, an incredible representation of this stamp; beautifully centered amid evenly balanced margins with vivacious rich color; quite possibly the finest known example of this terribly difficult stamp as this stamp is unlike any Confederate States #5 we have ever encountered, Extremely Fine, with 2007 P.F.C. and 2015 P.F. certificate graded XF 90.

2304 () 10a imageConfederate States, 1863, 10¢ milky blue, "frame lines" (Scott 10a), unused without gum, an magnificent example of this extremely scarce unused stamp; showing 3 full frame lines, plus most of the 4th frame line; rare thus, as most known examples show just a small portion of the frame lines that divided these stamps on the sheet; among the nicest margined example one could ever imagine, as this stamp rarely comes so nice; light soiling which doesn't really affect this stamp's lovely appearance, otherwise Very Fine, with 1972 P.F.C. and 2012 C.S.A. certificates.
