1447 o   imageU.S., Important Used Stock. With most of the value in the 19th and early 20th century. The first page sets the pace from the imperfs values to 10¢ (x2) followed by 1857/61s with various different values to 30¢, including an attractive 5¢ Jefferson with light red barred oval cancel, as well as other values with colored cancels etc. Then the 1861 issues with values through to 90¢ Washington including 9 blackjacks, 4 x 5¢ brown, 7 x 10¢, 3 x 12¢, 3 x 15¢ Lincoln, 3 x 24¢, 3 x 30¢, etc, again including colored cancels. Then the 1869s with 2 x 1¢, 6 x 2¢, 3 x 10¢ as well as 12, 15 and 30¢. Then the National Banknotes definitives with a wider range of material to 90¢ Perry 1870s issues, 2 x 90¢ carmine and 1 x 90¢ purple, through to all the other denominations in varying quantities of the different types including colored cancels, there is distinct possibility of good finds to be made. Then follows the 1890/93 definitives through to the Columbians with 5 x 3¢, 3 x 4¢, 3 x 5¢, 6 x 6¢, 3 x 8¢, 6 x 10¢, 3 x 15¢, 2 x 30¢ and 1 x 50¢. A similar pattern with the Omahas including 2 x 4¢, 4 x 5¢, 3 x 8¢, 5 x 10¢ and the 50¢ green. This leads on to the turn of the century definitives between 1894/1903s, the former with different values through to the $1 (x2) and most other values well represented as well. The turn of the century material similarly laden with good items, including lots of Pan-Ams and Louisiana Purchases in complete series, as well as an abundance of Washington-Franklin heads to high values including good colors on the Franklins etc, through to back of the book including good postage dues and various Departmentals. Time and space do not permit further description, other than to mention the quality is far better than normally encountered for those old fashioned stocks, offered intact as received. It is completely uncatalogued, original and clearly the retail potential is colossal. Definitely an opportunity for a dealer, the presentation lends itself to an unhurried viewing, much is hidden.
