Front also shows blue "Carl F. Gahlnback Reval" oval firm chop, while reverse shows Pernau receiver. Fresh, a lovely first issue usage from Estonia, Very Fine.

438   imageRussia, 1866 (Dec 16), cover from Vologda to Schaffhausen, Switzerland, a spectacular cover franked by the 20k and 30k values from the perf 12½ 1858 issue, along with 1k and 3k from the 1864 issue, all tied by Dec 16 cds's. Reverse also shows blue "Basel-Constanz 5 Jan 67" post wagon cds, with front showing bold, red "Aus Russland Franco 3.1 II 66 etc" transit marking along with several manuscript rate markings. An extraordinary and rare four color franking, along with a remarkable usage; cover with some minor edge tears and foxing, still Fine to Very Fine, a showpiece! signed Mikulski with his 1997 certificate.
