toned spot, Very Fine, unusual and rare usage, accompanied by typed transcript of notes regarding these bisects, Very Fine, ex-Dan Curtis.

BISECT, APPARENTLY DUE TO A SHORTAGE OF 1¢ OR 2¢ STAMPS AT WADLAM'S MILLS, ONE OF ONLY FOUR RECORDED.
The Whitpain collection contained a matching pair of covers used on the same day from Wadham's Mills N.Y. that realized
$2,645 each in 2009. All four covers have the matching notation by the postmaster noting the 1¢ and 2¢ stamp shortage. (Image1)
