MINI COLLECTIONS OF CHINA, TAIWAN & PRC Several hundred mostly mint sets, souvenir sheets and some FDCs displayed on black stocksheets. The earliest material is a handfull of used sets and singles from Taiwan during the late 1950s
and early 1960s, followed by a group of booklets from the 1980s, then some mint sets. The PRC section is the much stronger group. Here we note some mint sets and singles from the 1950s, most notably a bottom margin single of Scott# 66 with
imperforte margin. These are followed by a couple of reprints of the 1960s Most of the collection consists of sets and souvenir sheets from the late 1980s to 1990s plus some FDCs. The last four stockpages hold a small collection of currency. The
owners catalog value includes the catalog value of the currency and is quite high considering that it is now a few years old. |
