BRITISH COMMONWEALTH MASSIVE HOARD, if you collect this are this lot is for you. Well-organized and assembled over decades by missionaries on manila stock pages using Scott numbers. You will spend hours looking through 22 packed three-ring
binders filling five banker's boxes.. From Aden to Zanzibar, there is plenty here for both the collector and dealer. Australia, Canada, Ceylon, Hong Kong, Ireland, Malay states, South Africa, and New Zealand each fill an entire binder or two by
themselves. Additionally you will find the George VI Coronation issue on White Ace pages apparently missing just one stamp (2 1/2 pence Dominica), the Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee specialty album virtually complete, Penguinalia pages holding
gutter pairs from Australian Antarctic Territory, British Antarctic Territory, the Falkland Island Dependencies, and South Georgia, and lastly, the St. Vincent presentation album of Kings and Queens of England First Day Covers. For the most part the
missionaries who put this assembly together were not sophisticated collectors; they just soaked and sorted, so there is no telling what you will find, although we guarantee plenty of fun. |
