Pooley" endorsement below the overprint, ms. "24.2.29" dated, stamps tied by London MAR 18 Paquebot wavy-line machine cancel, some light creasing at bottom but still Fine and a great rarity, Crabb reports six covers known but he was aware of two (this and the next lot), carried on SS Duchess of Athol which visited Tristan 24 February, ex-Crabb, Cole. Pictured and discussed in Crabb p. 192
