ACSC #192, Die IA, mint block of four, exceptionally well centered, o.g., top pair l.h., the bottom pair is never hinged, choice very fine and scarce; changing the ink helped the printing of the stamps from the Die I plates but after printing most of the stamps from these plates they were retouched producing a small quantity of what are called Die 1A impressions before plates from a new Die II were place into use, these impressions are even more elusive than the "White Wattles" variety (Scott #170 var.).
