497 og/nh/p   Interesting and eclectic valuable collection of several hundred stamps mounted on self-devised pages, the largest portion is mint but there are used found in the early 19th century issues, the range of material is extensive with the largest portion of the value in 19th century and early twentieth century regular issues and commemoratives, the early issues contain many better issues starting with an attractive appearing used #2, other rare and high catalog value items include a mint #25, mint or unused #37-39, 1869 Pictorials are nearly complete used including the 90c, early Banknotes are used but later Banknotes are mint and small Banknotes are complete, twelve different Columbians incl. a mint $4.00, there are numerous mint Bureau issues and Washington- Franklin issues, the 1902-03 Regular issue is complete mint, also includes nice airposts with mint first issues and Zeppelins are complete, other types of material include parcel posts cplt., newspaper stamps, better revenues incl. beer stamps, also high value savings stamps, a set of 1869 Pictorials in india proofs, plus there are several hundred dollars face value in modern issues mostly miniature sheets, etc., and even some Hawaii, condition varies with faults present but flaws are usually unobtrusive, unused is found in the early issues, but many have o.g. and never hinged are found from the early 20th century on,overall fine-very fine appearance or better; catalog value is very high and this is a collection well worth examining with some unexpected treasures to be found.
