image Worldwide, 1890's-1950's, an exceptional postcard collection, over 90 post cards, the main value being in the 1890-1920's period. Countries include Armenia, Belgium, China (including foreign offices), Denmark, Egypt, France & Colonies, Germany (including offices abroad, colonies and some inflationary period), Great Britain, Hong Kong, Hungary, Japan, Manchukuo, New Zealand, Russia (with some great pictorial designs), Turkey and U.S. These are predominantly foreign mail usages, but also include advertising cards, real photo cards, even a U.S. Columbian Exposition card. Some truly unusual items here. Note a Gordon-Bennett card, other pioneer airmail, Chinese Imperial Post to Hawaii, Japan commemorative card and postmark for the visit of the American Fleet in 1908, and much more. Please check the photos on our web site to get an idea of the richness of this lot - these are cards that would typically retail for $75-$100 each definitely deserves careful inspection.
