MENDOZA EARTHQUAKE (Argentina), rare free frank: 14 Entire letters posted in May 1816 to the "Commission in charge of the subscription for the unfortunates of Mendoza" in Salto (some letters are addressed to the president of the Commission, Mr. Pedro Real), all indicating donations of farmers of the area for the victims of the great earthquake.
