image 1939. These are is a one-of-a-kind items from the Deutsche Zeppelin Reederei (DZR), the German airship company from the 30s (since reincarnated) which operated the great Zeppelin airships such as the Graf Zeppelin and the Hindenburg. This is the original file of photographs of the Graf Zeppelin, interior and exterior, along with file envelope with handwritten notes reverse, indicating that the photo lot had an issue of 10,000 sets, and then 5000 more, and then 5000 more. Along with the folder and photos are three sheets of proofs for the envelope they were issued in, giving ownership notice and a table of contents. Two of the proof sheets and all of the photos have the Zeppelin Reederei 'approval' handstamp. The folder belongs to a set of photos for the LZ130 Graf Zeppelin II *LZ130*, while the set of photos and proof sheets are a set of the Graf Zeppeln LZ127. Obviously somewhere along the line someone got the folder and the photos mixed up, since they both are for the Graf Zeppelin, (Image)

There is a great shot of the Bauamt crew responsible for the hangars, a woman who apparently did great service for the wounded there, and a few shots at the end of architects/artists rendering of the some of the facilities, and then shots of the surrounding area of Ahlhorn. All are mounted on large, heavy card for exhibition (15x10.5 inches) and the actual photo sizes range in size from a little over postcard size, ca 15x9cm (6x3.5 inches) to medium-
