1869/1870, 40pa. lilac, perf. 12:9½, BISECTED HORIZONTALLY, on front of cover (faults) with clear strike of c.d.s. "CUPRIJA 24/10". Due to a temporary shortage of 20pa. stamps, 40pa. stamps have been bisected by post officials without authorization and were used accordingly.

1893, King Alexander I., stationery card 5pa. green uprated by 5pa. green, used from "BELGRAD 30.IV.93" to Vienna with arrival mark 1.5.93 alongside and locally redirected. Recipient was the known stamp dealer Rudolf Friedl, the message refers to this new postcards and saying that letter cards are in printing process and will be available within 5-6 weeks. Michel states and Derocco assumes that the first day of issue was the 1 July 1893. The present card is used two month prior to that date! (Image)
