1869 Entire letter from Norrköping to Copenhagen, Denmark franked by 'Coat of Arms' 5øre green and 12øre blue (correct 17øre rate) tied by "Ö.S.B. 18/6 1869" (Östra stambanan) cds, with "PKXP N:r 1/18/6/1869" railway cds and framed "FRANCO." alongside, "PKXP N:r 2" cds and Copenhagen '19 June' arrival cds in blue on the reverse. Fresh and fine stamps except the 5øre affected by a vert. cover fold (short tear), letter refolded in order to protect stamps at top, but nevertheless an attractive letter directly to Denmark. H. Cover with a few minor traces of use/ageing but still fine. An attractive cover, and the rarest combination of the 38 øre rate (Facit 15,000 SEK), plus the scarce German reg. label. (Image)
