image 1896, Albania/Montenegro, violet handstamp STEAMER DANITZA / POSTAGE 5 SOLDI / SCUTARI, 26.3.1896, excellent strike on part of a cover front addressed to the Ottoman Consulate in Podgorica Montenegro. The steamer Danitza was operated by a british-montenegrin company for transports on LAKE SKADAR, which is located on the territories of both Albania and Montenegro.
