Each page is presented in two columns of English & Dutch; interesting contents include 'Sale of Newlands' announcing the sale of five lots of land between the High Road and the Liesbeek River. [The Cape Ordinance No.26 of 1826 imposed a tax of 1d per sheet on newspapers; perhaps the Government received a concessional rate?]
