image 1907, Romania international postal money order 5 Bani King Charles I., additionally franked twice with 10 Bani and 1 Lei from Buzeu to Galata / Constantinople, Turkey to the Austrian post office there. On the reverse side arrival postmarks of the Turkish and Austrian postal service. As usual with these money orders some light creasing but a rare example of the use of 1 Lei stamps on international postal orders and MOST UNUSUAL DESTINATION TO TURKEY. ÷ 1907, internationale Postanweisung mit Wertstempel 5 Bani König Karl I., zusätzlich frankiert mit zweimal Mi.-Nr. 133 und der Mi.-Nr. 142 zu 1 Lei aus Buzeu nach Galata / Konstantinopel zur dortigen österreichischen Post. Rückseitig Ankunftstempel der türkischen und österreichischen Post. Wie bei diesen Anweisungen üblich Bedarfsspuren, ein seltenes Beispiel der Verwendung von 1 Lei-Marken auf internationalen Postanweisungen. SEHR UNGEWÖHNLICHE DESTINATION TURKEI. (Image)

The head image is clearly shifted downwards and the retouching in the neck of the head image and in the frame next to "BANI" and below "50". Photo certificate Gmach AIEP: "The stamp is cut on the left and below, [...] above with a small part of the lower margin of the next stamp". ÷ 1869, 50 B blau/rot, König Karl I., Druck vom stark abgenutzten Druckstein (siehe entsprechende Fußnote im Michel-Katalog). Das Kopfbild ist deutlich nach unten verschoben und die Retusche im Nacken des Kopfbildes und im Rahmen nebben "BANI" und unter "50". Fotoattest Gmach AIEP: "Die Marke ist links und unten angeschnitten, [...] oben mit kleinem Teil des Unterrandes der nächsten Marke". (Image)
