29/DE/1927 First airmail Lima - Iquitos, cover franked by Sc.C1 (types 3 and 4) + other values, with special marks. The letters dispatched in Lima before 5 pm of December 28 were carried by train from Lima to La Oroya and then by road to San Ramón. From there, on January 3 1929, they were carried by airplane (flown by L. Alvariño) to Masisea, where they were transfered to a seaplane piloted by Commander H.Grow and carried to Iquitos.
