image Porte De Mar 1874/80: Queretaro District 25 c. blue 35-78 used on obverse of 1877 cover to Toulouse tied by oval "FRANCO EN / QUERETARO" handstamp in black with datestamp in green at right (Dec 26) paying the internal fee, reverse franked by Porte De Mar 10 c. black, sheet marginal example, also tied by oval "FRANCO EN / QUERETARO" handstamp paying the Port Fee. Carried via London (Jan 28, 1878) and struck on arrival with '17' décimes charge marking over "T / 1-70" in blue applied in London. The Porte de Mar 10 c. with toning around the edges of the adhesive, but an issue seldom found clearly tied to a cover.
