Carol heads comprising apprx. 55 stamps, following issues, the 1876/1920 definitives offering a vast range of colours/shades, postmarks and especially perforations, 1903/1913 commemoratives collected severalfold, 1926 Ferdinand 10b. to 10l. imperforate, airmails etc. Rare and attractive offer! 1858/1977, impressive collection in three KA/BE binders neatly arranged on album pages, predominantly mint with a good proportion of unmounted material. Starting with a lovely section of classic issues incl. a marvellous corner margin stamp of 1858 40pa. blue and also nice Carol heads, following semi-classic isuses, 1903/1906 commemoratives complete and also 1919/1920 occupation issues with apprx. 220 stamps. From 1920s onwards virtually complete and also incl. many extras like 1940s mini sheets, imperfs and se-tenants. Rarely seen in that comprehensiveness, attractive opportunity! (Image)

1861-66, "Two folded envelopes from Ismail-Tulscha & Sulina" : 1866 folded envelope bearing oval sender mark "FRATELLI TULCIANOFF ISMAIL" (a historic city on the Danube river in Odessa Oblast in south-western Ukraine) with France Napoleon 20 C. blue and 40 C. orange each tied by clear blue gros chiffres "5102" and "TULSCHA TURQUIE D´EUROPE 14/OCT/66" cds. alongside, boxed black "PIROSCAFI POSTALI FRANCESI" & "PD", via "Constantinople 17/OCT/66" to "Messina 21/OCT/66" with arrival mark on reverse, certificate Behr 1980 "Cette piece est superbe". The second envelope is tied by "SULINA TURQUIE D´EUROPE 21/Juil/61" cds. and "10" for taxe alongside according to postal rates of 1857-1864, via "Constantinople 23/Juil/61", Livorno, Firenze and Bologna to Ferrara with 2/08/61 arrival mark on reverse, a very scarce stampless usage in petit chiffres period. An attractive postal history pair of covers for advanced collections of French Levant & Romania from an awarded exhibition collection! (Image)
