1940 Destination BRAZIL: Small airmail cover from Attapeu to Sao Paulo, Brazil via Saigon, franked on back by French Indochina 1931-40 definitives 30c, 60c and 2p. tied by "ATTAPEU LAOS/6 12/40" c.d.s., Saigon transit c.d.s. and Sao Paulo arrival datestamp alongside. The cover sent by Lieutenant Acharo, Gendarmerie Laotienne, S.P. 50.691, BPM 411, T.O.E. and addressed to a Captain of 'Forca Publica' in Sao Paulo. The small envelope with a missing top corner on back otherwise fine. A SCARCE DESTINATION DURING WWII. (Image)
