Israel, , Registered letter franked with Palestinian stamps with contents regarding a missing person sent to New York 1947. The letter was returned since this person no longer lived in USA. Israel, , Registered letter to Birobidjan (Jewish Authonomic Republic in the far east) franked with three Palestinian stamps, and two locals in different colours, sent via Odessa 10.6.37. Also franked on back side with a Soviet 30 k stamp (Mi 419). The reciever, David Berelson, well known Ukrainian poet, strong supporter of Stalins idea of construction a Soviet - Jewish state in the middle of nowhere, was eventually arrested and killed in the Ljulianka prison 13 August 1952 during the so called "Night of murdered poets".
