1897, "prir" on 5 a. green, perf. 12¾, small letters (perforation with slightest irregularities), on printed matter (vertical fold) from "ReykjavÃk 11.11.97" to Hafnarfjörður with violet rubber arrival mark alongside. Sender was Mr. Hannes Thorarensen (apparently a stamp dealer) writing a comprehensive bilingual (Icelandic/English) message/information about the used adhesive. Rare and attractive!
