image Valuable specialised collection, 1922 -1939 in green springback album including mint 1922 Dollard seahorses 2s6d (2), 5s and 10s, Thom blue-black overprint seahorses to 10s single set and top marginal blocks of 4, Irish Free State to 10s, 1922-34 to 1s including coil join strips of 4 of ½d and 1d, 1925-28 seahorses and wide date to 10s, 1935 re-engraved to 10s, ½d to 2d Harrison overprints in pairs one with long '1' varieties, 1927 5s vertical pair, wide and narrow date and commemoratives. Mint varieties include 1922 Provisionals ½d to 2d various broken letters/misplaced ovpts, 1d ovpt inverted, 2d orange Die 1 single and marginal pair with inverted ovpt, 1½d 'PENCF' variety in marginal block of 9, 1922 ½d 'Saorstat' accent omitted in marginal block of 4, ½d pair, block of 4 and 2 blocks of 6 with accent inserted by hand, 1d 3 examples of accent inserted by hand and 2 pairs with accent and 't' inserted, Thom 2½d and 4d blocks with accent missing, 2 x 2s6d, 5s blocks of 4 each with no accent plus assorted controls to 1s. Used includes Dollard set to 10s, 1922-23 set to 10s, 1925 Bradbury 10s x 2, wide date to 10s. Careful viewing recommended, mixed condition throughout, still many good to fine (hundreds) (Image)
