image 1922-35 Free State overprints collection on leaves and stockcards, we note; Thom set of fifteen with both 2/6d shades, extra 5/- with 'e' of 'eireann' shifted left (soiled) and a vertical pair, top stamp with sloping date, Thom 5/- and 10/- used vertical pairs, each with part of two Maryborough CDSs of 17 FE 23; Harrison coils set, and the long 'I' ½d and 2d singles (2d slogan cancel clear of variety), 1d and 1½d pairs with normal (1d rather heavy cancels); 1927-8 wide date set plus the 5/- with circumflex accent, but this sadly with a faked cancel; 1935 re-engraved trio, 10/- water-stained. A valuable collection, well worth viewing. (Image)

Dollard set with additional colours including 4d and 9d carmine; Thom 1½d PENCF variety, Claremorris CDS clear of variety, one perf toned. Dollard Seahorses with two 2/6ds (one with short perfs), three 5/-s (two shades and one on laid paper) and two 10/-s, one with the long stroke of 'r' in 'heirann' virtually omitted, several shorter perfs. Harrison coil pairs (no 2d Die II); 1922 Thom set to 1/- (Seahorses offered separately); Thom Type 4 set plus ½d dull overprint (bend and machine cancel). Occasional parcel or heavier cancel, but many fine, with catalogue value in excess of £2500 and well worth viewing (Image)
