1871/1953: Impressive collection in fourteen volumes, beginning with the Emperor Franz-Josef lithograpies as well as the recess printed examples. Many later issues are represented on covers, postcards, parcelcards and other postal forms. The collector was particularly fond of Airmail issues, here we find the 1931 Zeppelin stamps on no less than nine cards and letters with flights documented including "VIENNA", "SWITZERLAND"; 1st. South America Flight, "CHICAGO" flight on three cards, Relais flight to the 4th. South America flight, as well as other non Zeppelin flights also well collected. The first miniature sheet from 1934 is included four times, including on cover. Post war 1947 Roosevelt minature sheets are included three times and the "Chain Bridge" is also present in Red and Blue versions including a FDC of the Red miniature sheet. The collection shows a good degree of completeness with the quality generally very fine.
