1871, 5 Kr rot Ganzsachenumschlag, sog. "POCKENNARBENGESICHT": Die ersten Drucke von Postwertzeichen durch die Ungarische Staatsdruckerei sind misslungen. Das gedruckte Markenbild zeigt ein durch Pockennarben entstelltes Gesicht des Monarchen - das sogenannte "Pockennarbengesicht". Das äußerst unbefriedigende Druckergebnis führte Ende Januar 1871 zur Vernichtung von ca. einer halben Million Ganzsachenumschlägen. Der hier angebotene Ganzsachenumschlag ist das EINZIGE BEKANNTE Exemplar, das erhalten geblieben ist. Wertstempelmuster und Klappenstempel der Ganzsache entsprechen denen der später verausgabten Ganzsachen. Der Ganzsachenumschlag ist echt und in einwandfreier Erhaltung.
